We are recruiting for a Warehouse/Production/Machine Operative to join a small manufacturing company in Biggleswade.
The role involves manufacturing and assembling metal components, including basic machinery work and hand fitting procedures. As this is a small company, there will also be opportunities to carry out various tasks within the workshop.
Duties will include:
- Manufacturing and assembling metal components
- Operating basic machinery
- Hand fitting and assembling components
- Finishing products
- Sheet metal work
- Assisting with other workshop tasks as required
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or production experience would be beneficial
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Flexible approach to work, including overtime when required
Full training will be provided in manufacturing various components, assembling and finishing products, and sheet metal work. This is a full-time position, working five days a week with an early finish on Fridays.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am–4:00pm, Friday 7:30am–2:30pm; 40 hrs a week
Overtime may be required and will be paid at an overtime rate.
Holiday entitlement : 20 days plus 8 bank holidays.
