We are recruiting for Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Bedford.

The role involves manufacturing high-quality products.  This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking for a long-term, permanent position with opportunities to learn and develop. Previous production experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Our client is holding a Recruitment Day, with opportunities to meet the team, learn more about the role and potentially receive a job offer on the day. Start date November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery and equipment.
• Working with casts, hand tools and other production equipment.
• Assisting with casts changes and removing finished products.
• Checking finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Handling and moving materials and products safely.
• Cleaning machinery, casts and production areas.
• Following Health & Safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or construction would be an advantage.
• Comfortable using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full valid driving licence.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Rotating weekly 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm; 30 min unpaid break
Holiday entitlement: 25 days plus bank holidays
