We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to develop their skills further in a dynamic setting. The position involves manual labour, including heavy lifting, and requires attention to detail to maintain high standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

• Handling materials efficiently and safely across various warehouse operations
• Managing shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and verification
• Using warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and movements
• Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch
• Restocking shelves and organising stock in designated areas
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Loading and unloading goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Assisting with stock rotation and inventory counts as required
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Experience in shipping & receiving, picking & packing, or stock management is beneficial
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in quality control processes
• On occasions you may be asked to drive 3.5T van. So a full clean driving licence is requred.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a hands-on position within a busy warehouse environment. Candidates should be physically capable of performing manual tasks and working effectively as part of a team. Due the location of the work you must have your own transport .
