Our client is looking for a Machine Minder based at their Biggleswade site, working a 4 on x 4 off shift pattern. 18.00 - 06.00 hours. You will undertake an on-site company induction test, before you start work.
Full PPE will be provided.
Duties to include:
- Responsible for the set up and running of packing machinery producing high quality packs of finished products
- Work within the guidelines for food safety and quality
- Be responsible for the safe effective running of high speed packing machines against daily targets whilst conducting on line quality checks
- Be able to fault find issues on the line to ensure effective running
- Be aware of Safe Operating Procedures
- Accurate recording of information
Experience and skills required:
- Previous experience of running machines within a production environment essential
- Previous experience of working within a food production environment an advantage
- Strong team player
- Understand importance of effective shift handovers
Workplace Factors
- Manual handling required (up to 12kg)
- Working at heights
- Working in an environment with nuts/dust allergens etc.
