We are seeking a Buyer to join our clients expanding team. You will be required to be highly motivated, organised and a proactive individual. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, supporting the sales teams and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the companies supply chain. Excellent B2B customer service, systems knowledge and communication are crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage product restocking using the company’s MRP system (full training provided).
• Raise and maintain accurate purchase orders with assigned suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and our dynamic Sales Team.
• Support the Sales Team through effective material source and communication.

Skills

• You must be a proactive team player with strong organisational skills.
• Have excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Have a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
• Experience working with MRP systems and QMS procedures is advantageous, but not essential, training will be provided.
• You will have a collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with Sales Managers, Accounts, and key team members.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 hours. Friday 08:30 - 16:30 hours. 1 hour lunch break.

5 weeks holiday pa (Inc Christmas Shutdown) + bank holidays
