Our client is looking for Production Operatives for their plant near Shefford.

Main skills and responsibilities:

• To run machines and produce weather seals
• Replacement of raw materials to ensure continuous production
• Quality Control Checks on profiles
• To report potential quality issues to supervisor
• Continual learning of production processes
• Be aware of scheduling requirements and work to meet targets
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping
• To adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
• To report any unsafe acts or Health, Safety and Environmental incidents
• Candidate requirements:

• Good dexterity and experience working with hand, air, and power tools
• Able to lift up to 20Kg
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Able to work unsupervised or as part of a team
• Good communication skills

There is also the opportunity within the company, after you have completed your 3 month probationary period to train to be multi-skilled in other areas. Rewarded with an increment in salary and able to cover when required

Working hours per week = 37.5 not including lunch break

Hours of work: three shift system on 6-week rotating basis:

• 06.00am – 14.00pm. Monday to Friday.
• 14.00pm – 22.00pm. Monday to Friday.
• 22.00pm – 06.00am. Sunday to Thursday.

24 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Attendance bonus for 100% attendance paid up to 3% of annual salary

Pension autoenrollment: Company matching contributions up to 4%
